In the textile sector, where water and energy consumption is high, both producers and consumers have become more environmentally conscious. While sustainability is a significant factor in consumer purchasing decisions, it hasn't made them willing to pay more for it. At the same time, the sector, unwilling to lose its leading position in the international market, has begun significant improvement efforts in areas such as water and energy consumption, chimney emissions, and the proper disposal of waste materials, in collaboration with the Turkish textile finishing industry.
Through technologies developed within the framework of sustainability, the goal is to reduce water and energy consumption and process times. With all these developments, production processes have been shortened, and efficiency in energy and water consumption has been achieved. Moreover, thanks to electric motors, an output of advanced machinery technologies, a transition from IE2 efficiency class to IE3 and IE4 classes has been achieved.
